Small Business Outreach 2025
Small Business Outreach 2025
The City of Chula Vista is seeking input from small businesses to better understand their challenges and successes.
Small Business Outreach
Chula Vista is launching outreach initiatives to better understand the challenges and successes of small business owners. This project includes a survey, focus groups, and collaboration with organizations like the Chamber of Commerce, small business owners, and business associations. By gathering input and building a sustainable dialogue, the project aims to inform City programs and resources that effectively support the local small business community.
Small Business Survey
The survey seeks to amplify the voices of the small business community, expanding participation beyond the few currently engaged. It aims to include a diverse range of businesses: from restaurants and retail to manufacturing and healthcare; from long-standing to new businesses; from women-owned to veteran and multicultural business owners. All local small business owners are encouraged to participate, including local businesses with multiple locations (even outside of the City).
Feedback from the survey will provide insights into participant demographics, key challenges, needs, successes, and recommendations for future city programs and outreach strategies. The results will directly inform the development of programs, tools, and resources to support the small business community.
The survey will be available from January 31 to February 28, 2025. It features a combination of multiple-choice and open-ended questions, designed to take just 5-10 minutes to complete.
